These tubes are manufactured of transparent top quality grade polypropylene for better visibility of the contents and are designed for oil-free operation. Their ultra-thin walls will allow for quick thermal transfer and a significant reduction in cycle and PCR reaction times. Attached hinged caps come with either a dome or a flat top and can be utilized with heated lids from thermal cycler manufacturers. They enable positive sealing and prevent evaporation during heat cycling while being readily opened and closed with one hand. The cap includes an integrated shield that prevents contamination of the lid's surface. For sample identification, the writing surface is frosted. Presented in resealable tamperproof safety-lock bags.
